N. Ruby is a viviparous tropical waterlily created by Don Bryne. It has deep pink petals with a light base of the petals and brownish green pads. It's date of publication is 1998. When comparing it to N. Shirley Bryne, which was also created by Don, they are similiar in color although N. Ruby has a lighter base color on the petals. N. Ruby is solid in color on the sepals and plain color shading on the underside of the pads. N. Shirley Bryne has streaking on the outer sepals and small spots on the underside of the pads.
